Guidance Before & After Your Vision Correction Procedure

Whether you’re considering surgery or already scheduled for a procedure, we are here to guide you, every step of the way.

While we don’t perform surgery in-office, we partner with respected local ophthalmologists and refractive surgeons and stay closely involved in your care every step of the way.

What Is Refractive Surgery?

Refractive surgery includes procedures like LASIK and PRK that reshape the cornea to correct common vision issues such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. These procedures can reduce or eliminate your need for glasses or contact lenses.

Not everyone is a candidate, and part of our role is to help you understand your options, based on your eye health, prescription, age, and visual goals.

Why Choose Armonk Vision Care for Co-Management?

Having a provider, you know, and trust makes a difference. We’ve helped many patients through the LASIK and PRK process, providing honest guidance, thorough evaluations, and supportive follow-up care.

Our team acts as your advocate working closely with your surgical team while ensuring you remain fully supported before and after your procedure.

Because we know your history and your eyes, we are also here to help with any adjustments or questions that come up during recovery.

What to Expect: Pre- & Post-Op Care

Before Surgery

  • A detailed eye exam to determine if you’re a suitable candidate.
  • Evaluation of your corneal health, prescription stability, and tear film.
  • A conversation about your lifestyle, expectations, and which procedure may be best.
  • Referral to a trusted local refractive surgeon.
  • Coordination with the surgeon’s office for scheduling and records transfer.

After Surgery

  • Follow-up exams at our office to monitor healing and visual outcomes.
  • Post-op guidance and symptom management (e.g., dryness, light sensitivity).
  • Communication with your surgeon to track progress.
  • Ongoing eye care to support long-term comfort and clarity.

Your post-op care will continue right here in Armonk, where you can reach out to a familiar team with any questions or concerns.
