The Team That Knows You by Name, & Cares Like Family

We take the time to understand what matters to you, your concerns, lifestyle, and long-term goals for your vision.

Many of our team members have been part of Armonk Vision Care for years, offering patients a familiar, trusted experience that often spans generations.

We are proud to provide more than just clinical expertise. We’ve created a space where patients feel at ease, and where comfort, clarity, and trust are part of every visit.

Anne McNamara

Licensed Optician & Office Manager

Anne McNamara brings nearly two decades of experience to Armonk Vision Care, where she serves as a licensed optician and our office manager. Known for her precision, warmth, and attention to detail, Anne has built lasting relationships with families who return year after year, and often across generations.

She loves working in a small, family-centered practice where there’s time to be thorough, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful with each patient interaction. From fitting complex prescriptions to guiding patients through their eyewear options, Anne combines clinical skill with a reassuring approach.

Outside of the office, Anne enjoys relaxing by her pool during the warmer months, spending time with her two young grandchildren, and doting on her spirited three-year-old dog.

Wes Alexander

Licensed Optician

Wes Alexander is a licensed optician with over 25 years of experience in the eye care industry, a field he’s been passionate about since his very first job out of high school. Known for his calm presence and problem-solving skills, Wes brings a thoughtful, steady approach to every patient interaction.

Having worked in larger, fast-paced environments, Wes especially values the one-on-one time he’s able to spend with patients at Armonk Vision Care. Whether he’s adjusting frames, troubleshooting lens issues, or guiding someone through their first pair of glasses, he’s focused on helping people see more clearly, and feel more confident.

Outside of the office, Wes enjoys fishing, playing chess, and watching sports.

Patricia Matias

Manager of Patient Care & Administrative Assistant

Patricia Matias is often the first welcoming face patients see when they arrive at Armonk Vision Care. With a professional background rooted in the hospitality industry, Patricia brings over a decade of experience in creating thoughtful, service-driven experiences. Her attention to detail, calm communication style, and genuine warmth help ensure that every patient feels supported and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

As Manager of Patient Care and Administrative Assistant, she plays a key role in keeping visits running smoothly, while making sure every patient feels heard, supported, and at ease. New to the eye care field, Patricia brings a fresh perspective and a genuine enthusiasm for helping people. She values the practice’s close-knit environment and team-first culture, where everyone shares a commitment to personalized care and clear communication.

Outside of work, Patricia enjoys traveling, gardening, baking, and exploring local farmers' markets. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved cat.
